I have so many bills to pay with little money. School loans and credit cards, etc. Would you recommend credit consolidation? if you do which one is the best??
There is a government approved non-profit agency that will help you at no cost.
National Foundation for Consumer Credit Councelling.
NFCC.org
Reviews call them angels.
They will contact your creditors and see if they can help you.
If they put you on the DMP program – max cost is $25 / month – but only if you can afford it.
Call the 800 number on the website and make an appointment with a local office.
You could also try getting a book on Credit and Debt Repair from your bookstore or library.
This $20 book has all the tips and tricks on how to deal with creditors on your own.
How to settle, negotiate payments, even do a pay on delete on certain items.
This is common knowledge – you just have to know where to look.
School loans – if government ones can be deferred – you’ll have to request this to them.
Do not touch any company with the word NEGOTIATION or SETTLEMENT.
They will ruin your credit even further by not paying your bills.
You pay for months – while they pocket the money for THEIR profit.
These companies are out there to make money – after all they are a business.
Most people end up in court anyway getting sued.
Please contact NFCC.org – sounds like you could really use some caring people.

Do not do credit consolidation because it will only make the problem worse unless you have the monies to pay it off quickly.
