Since Barry Bonds has broken the homerun record, will the value of his baseball cards go up?

I have two 1992 Topps Barry Bonds baseball cards. One of them is a regular 1992 Topps card, and the other one is a 1992 Topps All-Star card.

Have the value of both of these gone up?

Baseball cards are only worth what you can get someone to pay and if he remains this unpopular I would say it is only downhill.

technically they have gone up, i mean when someone breaks a homerun record it means alot, if doesn’t happen often

Now his reputation comes into play but the people that really hate him are the general public and not the one’s who are going to buy your card anyway…

that would be Bonds 7th year card. Even if they were dead mint condition, they probably won’t be worth more than a dollar. (not because of Bonds and his controversy, but because of the over production of cards, it’s not a rookie card and the supply of them)

By all means though, check ebay for a more accurate
There is an all-star card on there (as a buy it now even) for $.25.
many Bonds 92 topps cards for $2 with no bids, some buy it nows for $.50

HOld on to them until he retires and in Hall of Fame. That is when they will be more valuable.

Not his regular issue cards. The Topps Co, which is the only manufacturer making Bond’s cards probably have only his Topps/Bowman rookie cards and later autograph or memorabilia issue cards holding or gaining in value.

They value always goes up with the hype. Unfortunately I don’t know if you’ll be able to unload cards from 1992.
