Using the infrared camera in the Wii remote and a head mounted sensor bar (two IR LEDs), you can accurately track the location of your head and render view dependent images on the screen. This effectively transforms your display into a portal to a virtual environment. The display properly reacts to head and body movement as if it were a real window creating a realistic illusion of depth and space. By Johnny Chung Lee, Carnegie Mellon University. twitter.com - Is it time to get a 3D TV? Only you can answer that question (for yourself). The content is certainly coming, and Comcast recently hosted an event in the Seattle area for tech enthusiasts to come and enjoy the three dimensionality of this next-gen form of entertainment. Having tried the glasses myself, I can tell you that I CAN'T WAIT to see 3D in the home. Given that I don't yet have a 3D TV, I can't really provide an in-depth review of one. However, I expect that the next HDTV I get will be 3D-capable. Oh, and do you remember the first 3D movie / TV show you saw? www.facebook.com |

This is the new TV commercial by Sony for their forthcoming range of 3D enabled BRAVIA TVs. The advert will be rolling out across Europe over the next few weeks, but is already on screens in Spain, Italy and Portugal. Directed by well-known director Jonathan Glazer (Blur, Radiohead), the advert was shot in 3D using Sony's own 3D cameras, but is obviously uploaded here in 2D. The idea behind the advert is that viewers from a standard TV will have to imagine what the advert will look like in 3D. However, for those people lucky enough to live near a 3D-enabled Sony Style store, they will be able to view the advert in all of its Full HD 3D glory. This advert was unveiled at the UEFA Champions League final 2010 in Madrid, during which Sony also projected a specially commissioned 3D projection onto the side of two buildings. Check out some of the footage from these events elsewhere on our channel. For more information Sony's 3D range of products, visit www.sony.co.uk |

Dubbed "Wonder-full", the spot is the first of Samsung's 2010 "Dedicated to Wonder" campaign that features a family of three who, on a visit to an aquarium, conduct the improbable feat of slicing out a large cube of water, fish intact, lashing it to the roof of their car and driving it home, where the father sets the square on the living room entertainment center and compresses it into the new ultra slim Samsung 3D LED TV. As the family relaxes on the couch, Samsung 3D active glasses on, a stream of sea creatures pours from the screen and appears to hover over them in the living room, giving the sensation of 3D action even to viewers watching in 2D. |

How To Eradicate Your Debts In 2010

I heard a very interesting quote on the television last night; it was on one of the news channels and it came from a professor who stated:
“There has never been a better time to reduce your debts”
Now when you think about this in a bit more detail you realise that this rather educated person is in fact most probably incorrect. How can it be the best time?
The real facts are eveident for each and everyone to see; the rate of unemployment is rising quickly, pay rises are thing of the past and money is scarce. For this reason I can not understand as to how he feels that this is the best time to reduce our debts; the reality is that this is a time when the majority of people have a real lack of money!
Now before I continue I must make it clear that I am not a debt specialist and that what you read within this article is purely my opinion. This information should not therefore be seen as financial advice. I am merely an average man from England who is involved in various industries including training for foster carers, providing affordable front doors that works and helping people to obtain personal injury claims process advice.
In another way I can actually see where he is coming from; unlike in past years when people could seemingly borrow as much money as they wanted to, the times have now changed and credit is much harder to come by. The companies that we owe money to are also deep in the mire. This may well be a great time to contact the company to arrange an affordable repayment plan.
What kind of deal are you talking about? Well quite simply these companies are also in need of cash and many people are not keeping up their debt repayments. By contacting the company, in writing, and stating that you are eager to pay off the debt but that the interest rates are crippling you in these problematic financial times. Offer them an amount that you could afford to pay on a weekly or a monthly basis and ask them to confirm if this is suitable to them. There are certain ways to write these types of letter and it may well be prudent to ask a debt specialist to contact these companies on your behalf.
So maybe, perhaps maybe, this professor was in fact correct. What do you think?

A credit card is a necessity for many people, however many of us have some problems with getting a good credit card. They are numerous and it seems that any person is capable of finding a credit card that is perfect for them, but still some difficulties and problems occur. Read these tips which are supposed to help you on your way of searching for a perfect credit card:
• Interest rate is one of the most important features of every credit card. It is actually the amount of money you will have to pay for using your card. Of course, credit cards with lower interest rates are better, because they save a lot of money, but at the same time they are quite difficult to get, because your credit score can prevent you from getting one. So, your primary aim as a future credit card applicant is to enhance your credit history as soon as possible.
• If you are interested in a balance transfer credit card, beware of some tricks. These cards, if chosen correctly, can save you from debt on another credit card. You just need to transfer your balance to the new credit card with lower interest rates, and by doing this you may later realise that you have been able to save a considerable sum of money. But if a high transfer fee is attached to this card, all your plans may be ruined, so be careful.
• I suggest that you use the internet for your search. You can use other sources, like television, for getting information, but on the internet you don’t even have to look for information – it will find you itself.
• One of the biggest mistakes people make when they apply for credit cards is that they don’t read the fine print of the credit card application. It may seem a boring job, but it is absolutely necessary, and you need to read it very carefully. Very often the information in the fine print is completely different from the information you have seen in an ad, so if you don’t read it, get ready to some unpleasant surprises.
• Don’t forget that credit cards are designed for making our lives easier and more pleasant, so find a credit card with some good bonuses. Some of them are really very beneficial, and you can even get a discount on certain products or services, or a free gift.
• If you are successful in getting a credit card, don’t think that it is the end. The real responsibility is only about to begin, and your credit card, apart from being a valuable financial tool, is also a rather dangerous thing. If you use it inappropriately or unwisely, or if you fail to make the payments on time, you may end up in a big debt trap. Make sure this doesn’t happen and be careful with your credit card.
The “recession” thing is really helping to clear the minds of average people and big financial grands. Maybe this is not the wind of change, but it really assists to make all the participants on the market of credit card applications to act realistically.
However before you dash to fill out credit card applications, please visit this credit card blog. There you will find practical tips about how to find the best credit card applications and not to get into the numerous traps of

A big number of firms make ads that provide their services and each claims to provide the best opportunities for your structured settlement. Therefore, you should take the service that provides you the largest amount of money for your structured settlement.
